What a crazy first week for the 2010 NFL season. Not many would have guessed that Houston and Kansas City would dominate their games against their tough opponents. Congratulations to KazooSkinsFan for winning our hognostications last week with an impressive 13-3 record. He edged out our reigning champion TeeterSalad due to the tie breaker. Welcome back for the kickoff of the 2010 Hognostications! It’s been a long off-season and we are fortunate to make it back to the best season of all…NFL Football!!!
TeeterSalad is the defending 2009 Hognostication Champion with a 171-85 record. His winning percentage was an impressive 67%. Rounding out the top 4 was: Mursilis 165-91, Deadskins and KazooSkinsFan at 163-93. We also experienced a first last year with Deadskins achieving the perfecto in week 4 with a 14-0 record! With the Saints’ inspiring win in the Super Bowl behind us, and the NFL combine looming, draft time is in full swing. For the Washington Redskins, the main question on everybody’s mind is whether they will take an offensive tackle or a quarterback with their first round selection. There is always the possibility that they will take neither, as there will be talented players at other positions, and the Redskins aren’t really set anywhere other than Tight End. However, in all likelihood they will be looking to aid one of the worst offensive lines of all time with an elite left tackle, or groom a young quarterback to be Mike Shanahan’s guy.
