Earlier in the week, we asked our fellow THNers to please send us in some of their photos if they went to training camp this week.
Here are some great photos that we received from Mozelle Meyers, @Sportsgal5_2000 on Twitter, and a die hard Washington Redskins fan:
Well Redskins fans, after following along at all of last week’s practices last week thanks to some great Training Camp tweet updates from our own Jake Russell, I have to admit that I am a little down about missing out on practices this week. So can Redskins Nation help me out?
I want Redskins fans to send me their photos from camp. Send me some action shots, or your favorite players on the sidelines drinking water, or players signing autographs after practice, or even of you and your friends huddled together doing crazy things at Redskins Park – whatever you want really. If you can’t be at the opening of Washington Redskins training camp today, then do the next best thing… plug the hashtag #THNTC into a search and keep up with our updates from camp that way.
THN’s own Jake Russell will be at Redskins Park today tweeting live updates.
This will be Jake’s 21st consecutive Redskins training camp. At 25 years old, that’s a pretty amazing accomplishment. Jake has been with THN for almost forever, and we always look forward to the insane musings of a die hard Redskins fan don’t we?
Give Jake a follow at @_JakeRussell on Twitter, or follow me @TheHogsdotNet as I will likely retweet a lot of his updates as well.

It begins tonight – but what about that adage that preseason games are for the most part – vanilla and useless?
The Redskins third round draft pick Leonard Hankerson had another solid practice today, in his bid to make Washington’s 2011 roster. The big receiver from the ‘U’ has impressed early in camp, and has wowed the crowds with a couple of circus catches.
With the Washington Redskins first open training camp practice on Saturday, fans were finally able to get their first look at the 2011 Redskins. As bleeders of burgundy and gold poured over lists and tweets to try and figure out who that guy was wearing number XX, the players were out on the field working hard.
For Redskins fans that are interested in going to training camp, the schedule was released today. There are eleven practices that are open to the public, and all of them are at 8:30am. Here is the schedule:
