Here is a look at some of the more interesting numbers from the Washington Redskins game last Thursday against the Chicago Bears:

345 - Total yards of offense. It wouldn't normally be that impressive, but considering the next entry, it certainly was.

224 - Yards through the air by Todd Collins. When Jason Campbell could not return from a knee injury, few Redskin fans would have predicted that Collins would come in and command the offense like he did.

144.6 - Was the Quarterback rating for Collins. Know how to figure it out? Who does? Just go to an online ratings calculator and plug in 15 completions, 20 attempts, 224 yards, 2 touchdown passes and 0 interceptions... the ratings calculator will spit back 144.6.

93 - Yards receiving for Chris Cooley on just 5 receptions. The big tight end was brilliant after the catch against the Bears, as evidenced by his 18.6 yards per reception.

86 - Yards receiving for Clinton Portis. 54 of those yards came when Portis broke a screen pass into the game's biggest play with some brilliant running. Portis was brought down just short of a touchdown, but Mike Sellers pounded it in from the one for the eventual score.

60 - Total yards rushing for the Bears. Washington's game-plan coming in was to make Rex Grossman beat them through the air. Grossman got hurt and was replaced by Brian Griese, and the Redskins stuck with their original game-plan. The Bears found it tough to run, with Adrian Peterson leading the way with 35 yards on 17 carries.

36 - Yards for Portis on 17 carries. At just a shade over 2 yards an attempt, it's safe to say that the Redskins running back found it as tough to find running room as Peterson did.

32 - Yards total rushing. The Redskins actually finished with less yards rushing as a team, than Portis had individually, thanks to negative contributions from pretty much everyone else.

21 - Yard touchdown catch by Todd Yoder. Considering that it was his first touchdown of the season, and just the fourth of his career, any touchdown reception by Yoder is a significant number. Congratulations Todd.

9 - Solo tackles from London Fletcher, to go along with three assists. Once again he led the Redskins in tackles, and brought his team-leading season total to 112. That's good enough for 5th in the entire NFL.

5 - Solo tackles from Reed Doughty, to go along with two assists. The young safety played well in what was probably his most significant game action.

4 - The losing skid ends at four for the Redskins.

3 - Games left to play in the regular season.

2 - Big interceptions from Shawn Springs. It was considered doubtful that he would even dress, but after reportedly 'begging' Gregg Williams to let him play, he went out and played his best game of the year.

1 - Much needed win.
