Congratulations to Mursilis for being our weekly winner with a 13-3 mark last week, winning through the tiebreaker over SkinsJock. Mursilis is sitting in a respectable second place behind the enigmatic HOOKBASSGA.

Pittsburgh at St. Louis
Good win for the Steelers, although costly in losing Willie Parker, the league’s leading rusher, to a broken leg. Najeh Davenport filled in nicely, replacing Parker after just one carry, with 24 carries for 123 yards and a touchdown.
Pick - Steelers

Dallas at Carolina
Remarkably the Panthers still have an outside shot at the playoffs. Hopefully they play like it and can pull off the upset. Smiley can relax; Jessica Simpson won’t make the game, as she’s scheduled to be at my house, washing my truck.
Pick - Pukes

Cleveland at Cincinnati
Take the over in this one. These two teams put up 96 points in their first meeting in week two, when the Browns defeated the Bungles in a track meet. How could the Bungles lose to the 49ers last week? Marvin Lewis needs to go back to coordinating.
Pick - Browns

Green Bay at Chicago
The Packers will be focused for this one, as the Bears handed them their first loss of the season in week five and have beaten the Pack four of the last five meetings.
Pick - Packers

Houston at Indianapolis
Homer pick here; together with Indy’s lack of having anything to play for (having locked the number two seed in the AFC) and the Texans incentive of playing for the franchise’s first .500 or better season.
Pick - Texans

Kansas City at Detroit
Someone’s losing streak ends this weekend. The Chiefs have lost seven straight, while the tumbling Lions have lost six straight after starting the season 6-2. Tough season to remain a fan of either of these two teams, particularly the Lions, but guess they’re used to it.
Pick - Lions

Miami at New England
Only question here is - by how much will Tom Brady and Randy Moss pad their stats? Brady needs five touchdowns to tie Peyton Manning’s single-season touchdown record and threw six in the week seven match up between these two teams. Randy Moss needs only three touchdowns to tie Jerry Rice’s single-season touchdown record.
Pick - Patriots

New York Giants at Buffalo
Tough pick here. The Giants will be playing to secure a playoff spot before their week seventeen meeting with the potentially unbeaten and history-seeking Patriots. On the other hand, the Bills are playing for next season. Go Bills!
Pick - Giants

Oakland at Jacksonville
Stating the obvious and overstated, but that was an impressive win in Pittsburgh last week for the Jags. It’ll be interesting to see if Fred Taylor takes out the frustrations of his once again overlooked pro-bowl selection on the hapless Raider rush defense. Taylor is and has been a pro-bowl quality back, enough said.
Pick - Jaguars

Philadelphia at New Orleans
The Eagles have nothing to play for, while the Saints can become only the second team in history to make the playoffs after a 0-4 start with a win and the Viking loss.
Pick - Saints

Washington at Minnesota
Let’s hope Moss and Portis get over the flu and get their energy back quickly. Both will be much needed this week against the Vikings. The only thing Washington Redskin fans want for Christmas is a win this week and without question, next. Go Skins!
Pick - Redskins

Atlanta at Arizona
The Falcons franchise is in turmoil and all accounts are that they quit during last week’s game. Odds are they’ll show the same lack of effort this week in Arizona.
Pick - Cardinals

Baltimore at Seattle
The Seahawks (NFC West Champions and currently the NFC's #3 seed) would be in last place if they played in the East. The Ravens are in for a lot of changes come the off-season.
Pick - Seahawks

New York Jets at Tennessee
The Titans have something to play for, with an outside shot at a playoff spot. Tennessee can also run the ball effectively, while the Jets can’t defend against the run. Other than the one upset of the Steelers, the Jets only other two wins of the season have come against the lowly Dolphins.
Pick - Titans

Tampa Bay at San Francisco
The Bucs have locked up the number four seed in the NFC. It’ll be interesting to see how much effort they put out against the 49ers, who will be evaluating quarterback Shaun Hill. Amazingly, 36 year-old Joey Galloway needs just 35 yards receiving to break the 1,000 yard mark for the sixth time in his 13 year career.
Pick - Bucs

Denver at San Diego
The Chargers embarrassed the Broncos in Denver, 41-3, in week five. This one could be just as ugly in San Diego with the Chargers somehow playing inspired football.
Pick - Chargers

Last Week 11-5
Season 138-70
