2007 Results: 12-6 - Lost to New England Divisional Playoffs
2008 Projected Cap Status: $16,783,700 under the cap
2007 Season Recap:
Jacksonville finished second in the AFC South, but won their Wildcard playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers to advance to the Divisional game losing to the New England Patriots. After starting the season with a tight loss to Tennessee, they won 4 straight on their way to an 11-5 regular season record. With a potent 7th ranked offense led by David Garrard, and formidable 12th ranked defense, they look to be a force in 2008.

Team Needs:
1. Strong Safety After losing Sammy Knight to the Giants, they should be looking for a replacement to compliment Reggie Nelson at free safety.
2. Defensive End With only 20 sacks in 2007 and an aging Paul Spicer, they could use a young pass-rushing end that can put the pressure on opposing quarterbacks.
3. Defensive Tackle They dont have enough quality backups other than Landri and Meier. Signing Jimmy Kennedy helped but they could use more.
