By The NumbersHere is a look at some of the interesting, and often painful numbers from the Redskins' 19-14 loss to the Detroit Lions:

644 - Days since the Detroit Lions last won a game. That's 92 weeks, or 15,456 hours, or 927,360 minutes, or 55,641,600 seconds - in other words - an awfully long time. 55,641,600 also seems to be about the number of times that someone on the TV said, 'people in Detroit are happy,' on Sunday night.

340 - Yards passing for Jason Campbell; he had two touchdown passes, and an interception.

241 - Yards passing for Matthew Stafford, who showed great composure for a rookie quarterback; it was a huge albatross that he removed from the city of Detroit's back.

178 - Yards receiving for Santana Moss; one of the very few Redskin bright spots in the game.

101 - Yards rushing for Kevin Smith, before he injured his shoulder. It was his 3rd career 100-yard day and he ran all over the Redskins on Sunday.

97 - Yards of penalties on 9 calls against the Redskins; that's the entire length of the field. None of them were more costly than the pass interference on Chris Horton.

57 - Yard bomb to Moss in the third quarter, was the Redskins' best play of the day and their longest from scrimmage this season.

42 - Yards rushing for Clinton Portis, on 12 carries; neither number is close to high enough for Washington's best offensive player.

37 - Minutes of possession for the Lions, to the Redskins 23 minutes; usually when a team has the ball for a whole extra quarter, they win.

19 - Straight losses for the Lions - the second longest NFL losing streak ever; the Buccaneers lost 26 straight in the late 70's.

11 - Tackles for London Fletcher, plus 5 assists; can Redskin fans try to make sure that he gets to the Pro Bowl this year?

10 - Different Redskins caught passes (

3 - Yards rushing for the Redskins in the first half. While Portis had more looks in the second half, he didn't get nearly enough in the first.

2 - Third down conversions for the Redskins, on 10 attempts - not nearly good enough.

1 - Sack for first round pick Brian Orakpo; his first career sack, and the first of many for the Redskin rookie.

1 - Number of large brown paper bags added to the grocery list this week.

The Redskins return home to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday - likely to exactly what they faced when they were last at Fed Ex - a sea of boos.
