Note from Boss HogetteThe Redskins* found another way to lose Sunday against Miami. The habit is pretty much set. This time it seemed the defense faultered in the fourth quarter, giving up two touchdowns to Ricky Williams in the last 11 minutes of the game. Looked like all at that "trash" talking our defense gave Ricky in the first three quaters paid off in the end. I wish our young guys would just "shut-up" and go out and play; no dancing around after a good tackle or a touchdown, just play. Mr. Williams had the last laugh and we had our seventh loss of the season. So much for the playoffs this year. Mr. Ramsey got blasted early, he needs to take a rest. It's been a very, very long season for him. He's probably in shell-shock. One pleasant surprise from this game was Mr. Hasselbeck played well. I liked his rhythm, the way he got rid of the ball quickly, but when he had to, he dodged the rush pretty well. I liked his play.

This week the Redskins get to host the Saints. They pretty much manhandled us last year. Their defensive line wacked our Qback many, too many times in one of the longest quarters we ever had to endure. I do not know that much about them this year. They are 5-6, so like us, they probably are not going anywhere. So this is pretty much just a regular old football game both teams would like to win. Since it's home, I hope our guys play good solid football and bring home a win.

Cheers...MikeyT., Boss Hogette, HoF '99

* Thank heaven for Jim Thorpe, a man who helped pro football, now the passionate NFL game we love today, get started.
