Well fellow Redskin fans, the season kicks off tonight for the Washington Redskins against the Minnesota Vikings, and what better way to get ready than with one of THN's exclusive Flash cartoons?

For the past two seasons, THN has done a cartoon every week to spoof that week's upcoming opponent. Unfortunately, due to the large amount of time required to do the cartoons, we will not be doing them every week in 2006. With all of the other content we're bringing Redskin fans, there just aren't enough hours in the day. We do promise to bring you as many as we can though, and we knew we couldn't disappoint you and not have one for the very first week.

Monday marks the return of Fred Smoot to Fed Ex Field. Considering Freddie's personality, and his recent much publicized off-field antics, how could we not take a jab at our old friend Freddie?

You will find the cartoon in the Redskins cartoon section. You will also find a link to the cartoons on every page of the website in the 'Features' drop down box. Just look for 'Flash Cartoons'.

This upcoming season promises to be a promising one for the Washington Redskins, so start things off right... 'Toon into a THN cartoon!
