i think dillon is our best option. he's 29 or 30, so no teams aren't gonna offer that much $$$. he would probably be a good servicable back for a couple seasons. while he wouldn't be a long term fix, he would allow us time to make a move on a younger guy....... maybe next years draft. i just don't see any "studs" out there at the RB position in the draft.....especially not a 5th over all. rumor has it that NE wants jones. they have 2 first rounders, and probably will want to make a move up. depending on how we do in free agency, a trade down for 2 picks might be a good idea.

Corey Dillion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He doesnt say much, just give him a Playstation controller in the locker room and the football on the field and he is set.

He is a consistent 1000 yard rusher :D

INMO he is alittle bit faster and has more cuts in his steps compared to my favorite, Stephen Davis and will run you over :!:

Hey 56, you should post Kevan Barlow and Kevin Faulk, too. I don't like Staley, Dillon, or George as our running backs next year.

barlow is restricted, sf will tender a large enough offer to warrant draft picks if he's not re-signed, highly doubtful that he'll hit the market.

I agree but what about Faulk? He is stocky and very versitile. He would be my second choice behind barlow.

Corey Dillon has a bad attitude. Duce Staley isn't all that. Eddie George is a powerful back but his best days are behind him. I say go to the college class to draft a stud.

but what about d-line and pass rush???? and i really don't see any "stud rb's" in the draft, but i'm no scout. so it's just opinion.
again i quote john fox's comments on the halftime show today on fox....
"in my opinion, the best pass defense is a pass rush".
we probably won't be able to retain champ so, a decent pass rush is probably our next best option. My 2 cents

Well, I'd prefer drafting for the DL but that wasn't an option in this poll. I just didn't like the RBs offered.

Dillon wants to be a Cowboy. He said so earlier this year. Let him go there and fail. We don't need any more old farts clogging up our roster.
oops....sorry!
