a few points

was doing a bit of drinking last nite with some friends, and our coaching situation came up. while we were all plastered -drinking a couple points came up that struck me as interesting. the biggest thing was when we were comparing green and fassel. i was talking about how impressive greens record as a coach is, when one of the guys said, that's all good but he can't do that in the nfc east. i said why not, and he replied by saying because fed ex isn't the metro dome, a lot of greens flash took place out of the elements, try that crap at giants stadium in december....while i still think green is my favorite, this paticular thing weighs in now. we know fassel can handle the elements in this division. we also talked about how bad the defense was in min, and ny after fox left. with either of these coaches, we are still gonna need one heck of a DC to turn things around on that side of the ball. either way green or fassel, we are still gonna be in better shape than we were with spurrier, so i'm really excited. as i said before, it seems the only time its fun or suspenseful to be a skins fan is the offseason  hopefully that will change.

T-6 I was sober last night, but I have to agree with you on this one. Guess that’s why I'm so damn adamant about the Skins hiring a defensive minded coach. Would absolutely love to have Fassel as our OC!! But realize that's not going to happen.

I agree Hailskins666. Remember, 41-0, NFC Championship Game, Janueary 2001? He is great in the regular season but his teams never do anything in the playoffs. To his credit, though, the Vikes didnt do anything in the playoffs before he was there.

I did, too. I was actually rooting for them. It just show how much I hate the baltimore buzzards!
