Postby redskins56 » Sun Jan 11, 2004 1:18 am

Sorry... For some reason I have the hardest time making a poll. Either I do something wrong, or I do it write and my computer messes up...

Nonetheless, here is the real poll...

Which of the former burgundy and gold alumns do you miss the most...???

I picked Kalu because I know enough of you are going to pick Davis!

Kalu would fill a gap we are really missing...and he's young. I was really sorry to let him go.

Oh, and Redskins56, I think you can go back and simply delete the first threat (poll) you created.

Both Stephen and Brad. They are proven peices and took us to the playoffs.

It was stupid to get rid of them.

Davis, for sure. Can you imagine him in Joe and Joe's offense with our current OL? Scary great! Pushing 2200 yards great....assuming he could stay healthly, of course.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

#21 gone, but never forgotten.

I guess I miss Barber. He worked well with Arrington. I'm not knocking the current Big Three we have. You work with what you got, and all that. Still, Barber was a beast, and just another victory the Eagles got on us before the season even started a couple of years ago.
Davis ? I don't know. He kinda ticked me off a little with his postgame comments after the win. In my mind, I understand that it was against Spurrier and not us, but in my heart...I rooted for him for so long. (I even tried my damndest to get a "Believe In Stephen" shirt. No go, though.)
I became a real big supporter after the smackdown episode with "Mr. Potential" in camp. He handled that so well, so classily...
Any way, Trent went with Martz when Martz left us, and was promptly seriously injured. So, not him. Brad had issues with the owner, and the only thing he did that I really liked is when he went after Sapp in the second round loss in '99. So, not him.
It's Barber, for me.
"Sit back and watch the Redskins.
