So, more realistically... UFA QB's
There's :
Billy Volek (6'2" 214 Fresno State). Younger guy, solid backup in a really fast-paced program with the Titans. May be hard to get with McNair slowing down. Can't use O'Donnell for too much longer.
Jon Quinn (6'6" 240 Middle Tennessee State) with Vermeil right now. Could double as a center.
Rick Mirer (6'3" 210) Came from Notre Dame, everybody knows who he is. Has played in the east, but not our East (NYJ '99)
11 year man has seen it all. No issues with coming off bench.
Jason Garrett (6'2" 200) Princeton guy. Whole career in our East ('pukes, NYG) 83.2 passer rating.
Todd Bouman (6'2" 229) St. Cloud product. Currently a Saint. Able-bodied 2nd stringer.
Add to this list Ty Detmer (who I've already mentioned in other posts), Chris Redman (too young for Joe), Anthony Wright (Raven now, 'puke before), Shawn King (who can't do it at this level even though he finished us off in '99) Shane-O-Matic Matthews (insert your witty Spurrierism here)
and Damon Huard (not even Norv could get this guy going.)
What do you think ?

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!"
