Not sure about last year, but prior to that he fumbled a lot, which would keep him on the bench in a Gibbs offense.

Like I was saying in another post - How about Duce Staley? He looked awful tough the past few games and he's a FA. His gripe has been not enough carries. I'm sure Joe would give him the ball 25-30 times. Keep Trung for the 3rd and 7 yard plays.

Mack is not a starting caliber running back. He is basically a fullback anyways.

Agreed, Jake

I follow the Texans and had Mack on a fantasy team year before last when he was with Atl(?) and he can handle the short yardage ok, but not a quality TB.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

jacksonville. he did good as a goal line back, had 7 TD's i think with the jags that year.

I know it was the Eagles, and I hate how the people they get from us turn into Superstars overnight (Kalu, B-Mitch, Thrash) and I would love to turn the tables just once.
Having said that, Duce (whose name I deliberately mispronounce to have an "sh" sound at the end, thereby calling him a feminine hygiene product) has serious, serious character issues. He got very pissy when the Eagles went to a run-by-committee approach, and held out for a very long time.
I have to think that would stick out like a sore thumb with Coach Gibbs

Duce would solve the problem until he gets hurt.
