Talk about the Washington Redskins here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

P.S.... Remember all those Rod Gardner trade rumors during the season? The ones about, Rod Gardner and a first round pick to the Niners for Terell Owens? Well, aside from T.O. being a problem child, there was a reason the Niners wanted RG to come to SanFran. Its because he has unmasked potential to be great.

Seeing as I started this topic, I feel I should address something. My question was whether or not the Skins should keep Gardner, something I feel they should strongly consider (see the first post).
That being said, Gardner does have a good deal of untapped potential but he IS NOT Coles. Coles has size, speed and hands of glue. How many times last year did the Skins run a reverse to him or a WR screen that should have gone for a loss which he subsequently turned into a gain? How many times did he go up in the air for a catch while getting creamed by some safety only to hop up with the ball safely in his arms? One of the incoming coaches, I forget whom, was asked his impressions of the Skins players and the one player he singled out was Coles, saying "That receiver is special." Amen. Gardner may develop into a great receiver but Coles will be the Skins No. 1 receiver for many years to come.
And thank god for that.

Or, maybe, because T.O. is a real pain in the arse and SF figured the only guy foolish enough to buy him was Snyder ! :D
Thank your lucky stars for small miracles.
