Green was pretty good under Tom O'Brien at BC. He had his problems but they were dealt with and he moved on. You never saw him running his mouth or into any serious crap. Green comes from an EXTREMELY tough background (both his parents died of AIDS) and I think he has done pretty well for himself considering where he started. He's a devoted father and I think a coach like Gibbs might be exactly what he needs. Will Gibbs feel like dealing with him? I'm not sure but he's probably one of the few coaches that could bring the best out of Green if he was willing.

You know who I would rather have if you want to go with O'Brien backs? Mike Cloud - thzt boy could run faster than a scalded dog... and had some good power and could catch too...

I saw a rumour about Green and called someone I know in the Browns organization who told me some of it was true, some not, but wouldn't give any details. Anyway, here's the rumour.

Kevin Johnson comes home to find William Green there w/ Johnson's wife. Johnson slashed Green's tire before confronting him. He then chased Green out of his house half naked. This explains why Green was arrested for DUI half dressed with a flat.

Later, Johnson called Green's girlfriend and relayed the story. This is what caused her to stab Green. When the police responded they found weed in the house.

Butch Davis decided the two could never be teammates, and cut Johnson.

I agree about Cloud... too bad he's going to the Super Bowl.
