Byner

Postby skinsfan301 » Mon Jan 19, 2004 7:34 pm

Ok I'll bring up one more name from the past:

...said Ravens director of player development Earnest Byner, who confirmed yesterday that he has had discussions about joining the coaching staff of Gibbs, his old coach. ....

Had any one heard about this?

No I didnt hear this but I've always liked him. Met him for the first time in August when the Ravens played us. That is so great. I hope he comes to DC in some capacity. Do you have a link? b/c this is awesome.

This was dated when Gibbs was first brought back on the 8th.

This would be a good thing. He has done some real good work with Baltimore and has earned the praise of many in the league. Of course the cynics were see this as another attempt for Gibbs to get "the old gang back together".

Yeah thats the link I had, didn't notice the date at the time. He could probably be a good mentor to a young back like Betts or maybe even KJONES!
