Are You a Draft Guru? brad7686 is!

Postby JansenFan » Tue Dec 23, 2008 3:01 pm

This season, THN will be looking to improve our Draft section and bolster our blog section by recruiting a few writers to cover the draft. We will be looking for people to assist in covering all aspects of the process, including:

-- NFL Team Needs
-- Player Profiles
-- Combine Coverage
-- Notable Pro Day Results
-- Mock Drafts
-- Positional Top Tens and Breakdowns
-- Top 100 Player List
-- Draft-related News and Notes (i.e. trades)
-- Free Agency Moves That Could Effect The Draft
-- Anything Else Draft-related That Might Pop Up

This is not a staff position, so you do not have to worry about moderating or everyday THN business. You can simply publish your thoughts on the draft and relay news to others as interested in the draft as you.

Candidates should be willing to work as part of a team that puts out regular content, at least daily, if not more on busy days like during the combine. Commitment is absolutely a requirement. If you volunteer, you are saying that you will do the work necessary.

If you are interested, please PM or email me at jansenfan (at) thehogs dot net with a blog detailing what you feel the Redskins' biggest need is and who you think will be available with their first pick to draft.

All submissions will be reviewed by the staff and I will respond to each entrant to inform them of our decision. I'm looking for three people, although if more people send in a blog that look extremely promising, we may add more.

Good luck! I hope to see a lot of you throw your hats in the ring. Our google ranking for the draft has been historically high and our traffic during that time of year is actually higher than during the regular season, so if you are an aspiring writer, this could be an excellent opportunity to get your name out there.
RIP 21

We are still looking for members passionate and knowledgable about the draft to bolster our draft coverage this season, but one member hasproven himself worthy of the title: brad7686. Those that have been around awhile know how Brad gets amped up for the draft, and his posts are always insightful. You will now get a little more in-depth look at what he brings to the table.

Be sure to check out the Hog Blogs section for all of his thoughts on the draft, with a secondary focus on the Redskins.

Please join me in welcoming Brad to the THN blogging team.
RIP 21

I should have a combine recap out around monday. After that, I'll probably post an in depth look at what the skins could do first round. When Free Agency is winding down, and the draft is near, I'll post my final mock. Thanks for all the support in this thread!

I'm doing a full redskin draft analysis tomorrow hopefully. I'll have it out next week at some point. I'll PROBABLY do another mock draft too after all the inside information comes out.

So with all the LB's that we're bringing in for workouts, in your opinion does that mean we won't go after the LB from USC?
