NFL Rumors - November 7th

Postby PSD » Fri Nov 07, 2003 1:14 pm

Garcia battered, not done
San Jose Mercury News columnist Skip Bayless: "Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not ready to write off Jeff Garcia. Maybe the speculation on the NFL street will prove true. Maybe Tim Rattay will be next season's starter while Ken Dorsey prepares to take over in 2005."

Losing season, salary-cap issues mean new look for Steelers
Pittsburgh Tribune Review: "If the Steelers fail to approach respectability in the second half of the season, beginning Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, jobs held by key players for many years will be in serious jeopardy. Bottom line: The team will have a new look in 2004."

Price of impact wideout will be high
Philadelphia Daily News columnist Paul Domowitch: "In fact, there are only two who league personnel people consider legitimate No. 1 wide receivers, and one of them is the 49ers' Terrell Owens, who will be offered a contract by the Eagles immediately after hell freezes over. That leaves one - the Seahawks' Darrell Jackson."
