Missing avatars?

Postby Scottskins » Tue Apr 04, 2006 12:57 am

I'm not seeing many avatars on here anymore including mine. Is this some setting I'm now missing, or is something up with the site? I didn't see anyone talking about it, so I figured I'd ask...

It's not part of the upgrade... they disappeared when the board got hacked last week.

But I don't have time to try and fix them right now, so you'll all have to hope they can be fixed AFTER I've finished the site makeover and the board upgrade.

Yeah... the hacker couldn't get at the Site Admin rank.

So what's your point?

You people should walk a little more softly, or maybe think a little befoe you speak - far be it from me to point out how much easier it would be to take down ONE avatar than to re-install hundreds of them.

But keep being wisenheimers... you're just increasing my chances of not having to spend the countless hours it will take just to restore people's avatars. Because I assure you... they mean a LOT less to me than they do to most of you.

My 2 cents
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

BossHog's order of priorities:

1. Kiss everyone's butt by getting hundreds of avatars up and running as soon as humanly possible;
2. Drink some Canadian whiskey;
3. Apologize to everyone for being so late in getting their avatars up and running.
4. Drinking some more canadian whiskey; and

finally

5. Do some work on THN v3.

Get over yourself, people. Avatars are not what makes this site so special! It's the hard work and dedication of those that put out this quality product that make it special.

Yeah, Avatars are just flashy, but not important...

I do miss mine though :(
