I've had the VHS tape for so long that it itself looks like the ruins of Pompeii.

The DVD definitely a welcome addition to my collection. Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, and Careful with that Axe Eugene have always been my fave tunes.

You want Floyd? I'm a guy to talk to... I have about 100 Floyd CDs (with bootlegs)... some real eclectic stuff too. Chances are, if it's Floyd, I've got it. I'm bonfers for PF, and have been since about 1978 when I was just a wee laddie.

Most of it are bootlegs, they only have around 20 studio albums.

But I have at least 1 bootleg from every year from 1967 to 1980. And then a bunch more of the post Waters days.

I also have every piece of solo work from David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright AND Syd Barrett. There's some good music in those collections too. Gilmour's solo albums are both really good IMO.

I have orchestras doing Floyd... outtake versions... heck, I even have Floyd doing a version of Knocking on Heaven's Door...

I'm a big Floyd fan too... Marko Panas introduced me to them in the 5th grade and 14 or so years later, I still love them. I actually got to see them in concert back in '94 at RFK, of all places. Speaking of which, I miss that place.

Well i recommend all of it Smile

... but if you're asking me for particular bootlegs I like...

In chronological order:
06/25/68 - Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 1
06/25/68 - Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 3 - (Ultra Rare Trax Vol. 2 is good too but for some reason the sound quality of tracks 7&8 is just not the quality of vol 1&3 and curiously vol. 2 had a later release date.)
04/29/70 - California Moon
09/30/71 - Meddler
11/15/72 - The Return Of The Sons Of Nothing
10/13/73 - Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun 11/15/74 - Black Holes In The Sky
04/26/75 - Dogs and Sheeps (one of the best)
05/09/77 - In The Flesh
05/09/77 - Plays The Animals (this is the same set as ITF above, but on some copies the Careful With That Axe is mangled. if you have ITF, you don't need PTA)
02/08/80 - Brick By Brick

Top Gear Sessions is awesome compilation.

I also have a 4 disc box set called Total Eclipse that I totally recommend. Sometimes it's a 5 disc set when you see it but regardless, there's over 50 floyd tunes in the set and it's solid quality.

These are just a few, but I stuck to ones before the band broke up and that were of decent sound quality.

Lot's of good Roger Waters and David Gilmour solo boots too.
