The Post said the Skins talked to the Saints and the Lions this weekend about DT's. The Saints still want Betts or Watson but we will probably keep them. Maybe the Skins talked to the Lions about Wilkinson! LOL Laughing

The last sentence of the Redskins Notebook on washingtonpost.com says "the Lions shopped Shaun Rogers during the offseason." I wouldn't mind getting him but we have a lot of DT's, so it'll be tough on cutdown day Tuesday.

I wouldn't mind giving up Watson for a DT, we have McCollugh.

We don't really need another DT and we are planning to keep Betts, Watson, Canidate, and Morton, which I like a lot.

I don't know Jake - I still think we need a quality starting DT and while I like our RBs its going to be tough to give enough touches to each of Candidate, Betts and Watson (I see Morton strictly as a 3rd down back). There is no need to throw either Betts or Watson at the first 300lb guy who is offered but if the value was right its a trade I would make.

The first game is being shown live in the UK (it will be about 1.00 a.m. in the morning kick of time but you know I will be staying up for that!) .....I can hardly wait!!!

The defensive tackles looked great Saturday and we have too many DLineman, so we might have to cut some young ones like Jackson or Scott, like BossHog said.
