I'm in for a monogrammed shirt. I can't believe you're trading in the Saab for the beemer, even though it's incredible. I'm a long time Saab driver- I'm about to trade in the 900 SE for the 9-3 Linear. I test drove the new 9-5 two weeks ago- awesome ride. Anway, it's sad to hear a Saab driver selling out to BMW. Laughing

Yeah I thought about it and its still up in the as of now.

Hey I own a 9-5 its nice. I had to upgrade it to give it some kick. I have a ECU upgrade that raise the boost to 25psi and added a T18 Turbo upgrade filter, etc. It Dynoed @ 248. Thats without an intercooler upgrade. :)Its a pure rush to drive Thumbs Up

City, that's a little above my head. I understand the psi and Dyno references, but what's "ECU"?

Anyway, I loved the new 9-5, but they want a bit more than I want to pay. The 900 NG is still running sweet, but has a couple of things that need to be done. I may put it off until spring training so it can see a first season under Coach Gibbs.

The 6 series may be the only reason to switch to BMW in my book though, well okay, the 7 and 5 are awesome too. But never the 3!!! If you went to the 3, I would've had to question your loyaties, including the Skins Not talking

Good luck with the car search!

"Electronic Control Unit", or East Carolina University... Laughing J/K
...or an ECM, "Electronic Control Module", refers to the cars on board program computer. you ever heard of "changing the chip" in a car?.... same thing, different manufacture's use different terms, but it's all the same thing. it controls fuel delivery, engine ignition timing, and in this case the boost that the "knock-off or bleed-off valve" delivers through the turbo charger. the more boost your turbo makes, the more power your engine makes.... it also shortens the life of the engine, but thats the price you pay for that little extra.. umph. i used to be real big in to street rods, and drag racing, though i'm a bit rusty on all the new stuff. have lost track since i sold my camaro.....
