To those of you who know a great deal more about the draft than I do: Are the Skins going to have a shot at Sean Taylor with the 5th pick? It seems his stock is skyrocketing on a daily basis. Or is this going to be a won't-know-until-draft-day type of scenario? And, if the Skins can sign Deon Grant, how does that affect their position vis-a-vis Taylor?

you just never know till draft day. i thought the cards were going to try to nab eli or ben, but green says he won't draft a QB. i saw green on the nfl network complimenting taylor. so he could go third. but green was also very high in robert gallery, OT. and wouldn't you know it, that the gnats will probably go after gallery, but if he's picked third, then rumor has it, that taylor will be a gnat Puke
but there is a chance he could be there at #5. but like i said, who knows

Taylor is so perfect for a Coughlin team that it will be tough for the Giants to let him go by at #4 IMO.

no doubt, it would be bad enough not to be able to pick him, much less have to face him twice a year.... Puke

If we dont grab him I sure hope it is Arizona. I think that Arizona will grab a QB and NY is in bad need of some OL help. So there is a good chance that Taylor will be there with the 5th pick. But you never know.

What about Andrews from Arkansas? Isn't he a better OT?

No, Gallery has passed him on all the charts. Gallery is the total package while Andrews has weight and character issues. Andrews was injured and missed Arkansas' bowl game, but he would have been academically ineligible for the game even if he wasn't hurt. Because of his injury, he has been unable to work out and has ballooned to over 400 pounds. I heard Mortensen say that now a sinus problem has been discovered and Andrews needs to have another surgery on his sinuses which will not allow him to work out for another month.
