I'm thinking about getting this software for my PC....but I have one question for those who already have it.
Who's the coach of the Skins in this game? Spurrier or Gibbs? |

Well, videogames pre date everything
That game was last season's model with Steve Spurrier as coach.
Of course, with a PC game you can most likely change that. They give you much greater access to things like that on computer as opposed to console. |

spurrier is the coach unfortuantly. but, it's a great game. i only have it on PS2, not PC, and you can create a player, but not a coach on PS2 you should definantly get it though, and do the franchise mode. you get to manage the team, and roster moves, play the games, manage income from the games, deal with the salary cap, set ticket prices, etc, etc. i'm hooked. |

| I got it...and there is actually "NO" coach on the sidelines (unlike 2003). Man! With 2003, I could run all over my opponents! In 2004, I'm getting pounded and Ramsey is getting picked all over the place! I'll have to take more time and learn it.... |

JH, do the training camp exercices and stuff. it'll give you a bit of a "feel" for each game situation. i also play on the widescreen camera, that way you can actually SEE the wideouts, the madden camera is ok for the ground game, but i like to see wether or not the receivers get bumped or open. its also easier to spot a corner blitz in the wide camera view.
did you get the pc version? if so, do you have a game controller such as the sidewinder? if so this should make things a lot easier. just keep doing the traing camp modes on passing, and play it on the rookie difficulty, for a while, and you get used to the feel of the buttons, and which button is which receiver. all in all it took me about a month to get used to the speed of the game(it really does move fast), and also learn the playbook. but now its second nature, and that much more fun |

Man...How did I miss this thread.?? Glad you got it. The 2004 edition is hard to adjust to because, you will get picked very often.
I love the Running game this year. Online I kill ppl and cheesers(cheaters) with the weak formation. It lines both receivers to one side and the full back is opposite Trung. I then move the full back to Trungs side and hit the corner. I say....after five TDs ppl usally quit and call you a cheater. Bennent from the Viking is the fastest RB in the game and he is just as effective |

I'm gettin the hang, fellas. Just signed Brunell and Portis and played Dallas at home in the snow.
Final Score:
Dallas: 0
Redskins: 56
Portis had 4 TDs rushing and 3 TDs receiving.
Ahh....the dream begins!!! |
