Fresh Off The Cowboys Message Boards...
Channel 5 KXAS, the NBC affiliate in Dallas, reported tonight that Keyshawn and the Boys have agreed on a 5 year, $25 million contract! MY GOD I HOPE THAT'S NOT TRUE! 5 MILLION for a 32 YEAR OLD WIDE RECEIVER?!!
If true....what a waste of money!

What about the Brunell deal?? I had a lot of my friends questioning why my Skins would make that deal.
I hate the thought of getting Meshaywn, but the deal's supposedly structured to be a 3 yr $11 million dollar deal with a fourth year at $9 million.
Very similar to the Brunnel deal in that it isn't nearly as big as it looks on the surface.
With the Bucs signing some guys in FA, it looks as though they have to release Johnson anyway before April, so I perhaps the conditional 4/5th in '05 won't even be needed.

i think a change of scenary could be a good thing for both meshawn and galloway. dosen't look like galloway is playing ball though. seems a release of both is more likely.
THN's resident jerk.

Actually, I think it's the Buccaneers who aren't playing ball. Their alleged offer was 1 yr $1 million with no bonus. While Galloway's clearly not a premier receiver, someone will pay him more than that for his speed alone. He'd be better off to restructure and stay with Dallas or be cut and shop his services.
