Can Nick Novak become the great kicker the Skins have been missing?
Yes. Despite the misses, he's got upside.

No. He got lucky, and I'd rather find a better kicker.

Nicky Novak, you made the most out of an improbable second chance. Thanks for showing the mental toughness necessary to make that clutch FG.

It was drama at its finest.

Hail to the Redskins!!!

In my book, you will always be known as "The Redeemed One". Wink

I salute you. Angel

To anyone who says no, do you remember how terrible David Akers was with us and also at the beginning of his career? I'm willing to give him a chance, Doing what John Hall could (or maybe not) do for A LOT less. That's 2 game winners in 2 years and he wasn't even on the team for a full year. The guy has balls to kick like that and that is what a big kicker needs.

i said no but not because he was lucky, what he did in the clutch has nothing to do with luck, that being said id rather a seasoned pro or at least someone that would have made it the first time in stead of giving mea heart attack for like ten minutes at the end of the game

A seasoned pro like John Hall who missed those clutch kicks for us????

Nick is getting better and not once during the game did he botch a kick off. That right there makes him a HUGE step up! I think he has potential to be great and I'm behind him 100%!

Nick made a great kick under pressure, but his leg strength and accuracy from long range worry me a little bit. He wasn't even close on the 49 yarder and just barely managed to make the game winner from 47 yards. His kickoffs were also way too short. I don't think that he managed to get anything past the 10 yard line. Hopefully that's something that he can improve upon because I love his enthusiasm and its says alot about his character the way he made up for his mistake and won the game.

Looked good today. Nailed a 45-yarder like it was a chip shot. Maybe these kicks are going to start building some confidence in him. His kickoffs aren't anything to write home about, but then again neither were Halls.
