i know the wizards have memphis' 1st round pick because they traded the rights of Carlos Navarro to them. But does anyone know if it is protected or not(meaning if it was to be a lottery pick, 1-3, it would go back to memphis and we would get their 1st round pick next year)? It's just something that i've been wondering and cant seem to find an answer to.

Washington receives a 2008 Memphis first-round pick. protected top 19 in 2008, top 16 in 2009, top 14 from 2010-12 and top 12 in 2013. (Juan Carlos Navarro trade 081607).

Memphis has the 28th pick in the 2008 draft in addition to a lottery pick.
