Types of D-linemen

Postby Silverfox » Wed Mar 26, 2008 8:49 pm

Can someone explain what a 2-gap, or 1-gap D-lineman is, and the other D-line responsibilities too?

Check this link for explanations of the 4-3, the 3-4, the 5-2, the 6-1, the 4-4, the Nickel and the Dime defensive schemes.

Each formation and the responsibilities of each defensive player are explained.
