I have to disagree with you on this one. There is no way T.O. is coming here. With the salary cap and where we stand under it, we cannot afford him for one thing. Also, I believe that we have plenty of weapons at the WR position in Coles, Gardener, McCants, and Jacobs among others. We have plenty of playmakers at the position. Coles and Gardener have already combined for 70 catches this season and McCants has already made a big impact (let's forget the taunting penalty) and Jacobs is just a rookie but eventually will break out. Let's keep in mind that Ramsey (if not #1) is among the top QB's in passing yardage even though he's been sacked 21 times (which is atop the NFL in sacks allowed). The only reason the numbers aren't any better is because of the stupid mistakes in penalties and breakdowns that lead to sacks. Take the pressures, sacks and knockdowns away, then the passing attack would leave us probably at 6-0. Take penalties, let's say it's 3rd down and 6--the Redskins jump offsides to make it 3rd and 11. The defensive playcalling and scheme would obviously be different and a little bit looser allowing the Redskins to catch a pass for 8 yards which make it 4th and 3 instead of a fresh set of downs. And that's not indicating field position. In a 3rd and 11 and your inside your own 35 yard line, the safest and smartest thing Spurrier can run (which he has done and I agree) is a simple screen or draw to try to gain some field position to punt and let defense take over. Remember, in the NFL level, you must play field position. Field position will either make you victorious or defeated. Another reason why T.O. would never come to the Redskins can be summed up with one word-CLASS- That's one reason why the Redskins franchise and organization is so great is that the players we have always had (from Sonny Jurgenson to Champ Bailey) have always carried themselves with class and professionalism. I think everybody would agree with me that Owens is a selfish player that carries himself with no class and no professionalism. Lets take the other week when the 49ers were playing (I believe, but might be wrong) the Lions in Detroit and Owens went off on the sidelines at his offensive coordinater. Ever since he had come in the league, and every single year you can bet your entire salary that he will make a stink because he "isn't getting the ball enough" or "he's not getting enough touches". He wasn't able to blend a sturdy relationship with his coaching staff (look at the fights he had when Marriucci was there) and that kind of player would cause nothing but turmoil and problems in the locker room, on the playing field and with all of us fans. Don't get me wrong, I give credit where credit is due and he's a heck of a football player who is a playmaker and can make things happen on the football field. My opinion, let him stay in S.F. or go someplace else because the Washington Redskins Organization and ALL of it's players are above and beyond a classless, selfish player.

OK, OK you maybe right, but TO and Cole the opposite of each other. Thats 2 playmakers on one team. Gardner is not a playmaker. You have to hit him in the hands and he drops half of those. Gardner is suppose to have breakout year I aint seen poop from him. Hell Darious Thompson(Miami) has better hands IMO than Gardner.

Another thing TO wants to win. He just has to pipe down. If he did come here with that crap do you think LA, BS or DS would put up with that? No thy would have blanket party for his ass Applause

I'd much rather have Gardner...who is quite a good receiver IMHO and, more importantly, is a team player. If we bring in TO, he'll bring his bad attitude with him...and that certainly won't help the team! I don't give a rat's patoot how talented he is!

OK. Thumbs Up TO out. Thump

Skinsfan. I hear what you sayin, but It is hard to tell a guy who worksout at night when his other teammates are at the club partying that you are not going to get the ball. T Owens does complain. He also carried his team to the playoffs Thumbs Up Class, as far as class this organization is still working on that. With three coaches in 3 seasons and getting Rid of S Davis, dont tell me about class!!! We need to win and we want to win. People change look at at R Moss. We need T Owens and he need us. Until we prove we can win we will take anyone who is competetive and willing to win even if that means acting like a kid on the sidelines. Shame on you

AS far as team player, If he scores, the team Scores!!!

I'd rather have my mom playing for the team than Gardner, he drops EVERYTHING. For everyone 1 catch he makes, he drops 6, and always checks his glove like its the gloves fault.

But in this situation we have OTHER areas that need improvement instead of another WR. My list is as follows in order of most needed to least.

1. D-linemen
2. Coaching Staff
3. Depth All Around

AND OMFG!!!!! IF SPURRIER THROWS ONE MORE GOT*** WR SCREEN AGAINST THE BILLS I WILL KILL SOMEONE!!! <<< Sorry Im watching the game.
