No. I haven't seen where he's an elite passer in my limited observation of him. He runs nothing close to a pro style offense and he runs more than he passes. If we wanted that type of QB, we should have picked up Vick for a lot cheaper, b/c Vick runs a lot better.

Got to agree with Vet..I have watch him this year and while I love him he's not a NFL QB

O line is the only way to go. No QB can be successful if he doesn't have time to throw the ball.

Oh yes...no doubt, heck if he wins another championship they very well may rename the Heisman the Tebow

As a Believer, I love his testimony and the way he leads his team week in and week out, but, I don't wish for him to come to Washington. we've already had our fill of Gators.

That's a Chapter in this team's history that we ought NOT to revisit. :twocents:

Is there any question he'll be an all-pro?

#1 He's a guy that can deal with the line breaking down

#2 He can throw deep, he can throw intermediate

#3 He has more Passion.loveofthegame and fight than any QB in 10 yrs

Yea, because Vince Young, Jason White, Antwaan Randle El, Pat White, and Matt Jones are such great NFL QB's ( And most of them threw a lot more than Tebow does)

I'm not denying he has athleticism and heart. I'm doubting that what he excels at will jive with what a successful NFL QB has. Is it impossible? no, but it's not likely.

I love Tim Tebow. Great character, great athleticism and Championships to go along with it.

He is not the answer for what we need right now. We need a QB who can make all the throws in the NFL.

In the NFL you face the cream de la cream of the College players. You play only the elite players of those in College. College teams have maybe one to two Pro prospects. Some have none. The jump in talent is huge.

For instance Tebow is facing an Arkansas defense with maybe one pro prospect. The other ten players will most likely graduate and get a respectable job but football will be over for them.

In the NFL you face 11 of the best College players this country has to offer. No more weak spots the jump is tremendous.
Most NFL Qbs have a rocket arm. Alot of rocket arm QBs struggle as it is. So I just think the transition will be tough for him.

Remember Eric Crouch? Heisman winner? He ran better then Tebow. Tebow does have a slighty better arm though. How about Vince Young?
Vince Young has a better arm in fact. Vince can launch it 70 yards. He is struggling. My favorite Running Qb of all time is Tommy Frasier, anyone remember him? Oh what a college player. The greatest College player in my opinion. Part of the 95 Nebraska National Champions. Anyways,
There have been numerous running QBs with questionable arms. The success rate is not good. Watch this film of Frasier now that is a running QB. NO disrespect to TEbow. Just wanted to point out all the running QBs I can remember.

Love the guy just do not think he is the answer.

Do you actually watch any of UF's games? If you want Tebow as the qb of the Skins then I'm guessing "no". Tebow is a glorified fullback and is not going to be a successful NFL qb, if the team that drafts him even lets him play qb.

Yeah. The dude has a ton of heart, but the one thing he can't do is read a defense. He doesn't look past his 2nd option...ever.

Haven't we had enough of that lately?

As bad as we have been in selecting players that fit with what we need, from both the NFL & the draft, there is no way even this group is selecting Tebow to play QB - NO WAY - read my lips Laughing

nobody that has any credibility is projecting that Tebow will be even a good NFL type QB
I enjoy watching him play and even though I do not like the Gators, I hope they have a great season and that Tebow wins the Heisman ...
he's still not going to be great NFL QB
