A day after the San Diego Chargers inserted receiver Malcom Floyd into the starting lineup in place of veteran Chris Chambers, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that the Chargers have severed ties with the man they acquired from the Dolphins in 2007 for a second-round draft pick.
Since the trading deadline has passed, Chambers will be required to pass through waivers. Anyone who takes him, however, would be required to pick up the balance of his $4.55 million balance salary. (With nine weeks left, the unpaid amount is $2.4 million.)
On Sunday, Chambers had one catch for 20 yards; Floyd had two for 64. |

It wouldn't do any good. At all. Jason can't throw. The line can't block. The HC can't call plays but yet sneaks in a few anyway. LOL

Gotta agree with CLL.. I like Chambers though but I'm thinking our young WRs may turn out better for the long run.. assuming we fix coaching needs. I took a peek @ Chargers depth chart and I'm guessing his age is the only thing that got him cut. Besides VJ and MF, I have no clue about their other WRs but with Antonio Gates who plays like a WR and 2 good RBs who play like WRs I guess it was an obvious choice for them. |

DE.. lemme tell you what's the funniest thing about that. Last night the wife called and said "babe, you know Seattle let go of Edgerin right, won't Snyder hop all over that"?.. I told her it wouldn't surprise me with the other moves we've made this season. 2 funny you mentioned that |
