Newby here to your sight! Long time skins fan (1983), but first time here.

Had a question about this upcoming draft. The Cowgirls had a tougher schedule than the skins in 2010. They finished ahead of us, so why are they picking ahead of us, right? Aren't the weaker teams supposed to pick ahead of the stronger teams? I mean the Packers aren't picking first, right? Can anyone explain the logic of this?

If I'm right on this (someone correct me if I'm not) but I think its because they had a better division record than us. We were 2-4 and those punks were 3-3.

So their division record was better than ours and the strength of schedule was better.......okay......they were the better team....why aren't we picking ahead of them? Its makes no sence to me.

I beleive it's because they DID have a tougher schedule. That would put them ahead of us

Yes........but that's not logical for the reasons I said before. The weaker teams get to pick higher in the draft....not the stronger teams.

Sorry, I looked it up and it's not schedule strength. Order based on records and then opponents' win-loss percentage

Breaking ties (all the 6-10 teams for us) for draft order is about what the strength of schedule ended up being after the season. WE had the tougher schedule!

The team with the WEAKER strength of schedule picks first under the NFL tiebreaker rules. That's why the Cowboys pick ahead of us.

The tie breaker is not decided on our strength of schedule - it's based on the strength of schedule of the teams we both played against - apparently, we ended up just behind the pukes

no big deal - drafting 9 or 10 is not changing the fact that there will be a lot of players available that are going to become really good players in the NFL - the franchises with the better long term evaluators will always do well

this franchise has not done well in this area for a little over 10 years Laughing

HOPEFULLY we have a draft this year and that combined with a lot of picks in next year's draft, some good free agent signings AND some good trades, should see this franchise in a pretty good place for the 2012 season

IMO - we will be better but not quite good enough to say that this is a consistently good unit this year

HOPEFULLY, we get this CBA fixed and soon

It's a mystery to me. As I understand it, the tiebreakers for the draft order are different to the tiebreakers for divisional positions. That makes no sense to me at all.
