| Everyone rips on Snyder, I think he's great. He wants to win. He is a little to involved, but can you blame him? He went out and got a coach we all thought would be alot better. Spurrier should have been a offensive coordinator at the most, he obviously can't run the entire team. Snyder did everthing he can to make the system work, it isn't his fault. I hate to say it but I'm thinking a new coach with the same players will be great next season. The key for next year is to keep the core players here. Does anyone really think Baily or Arrington won't be here next year or in the future? Your crazy, both will be here (unless they want to leave). Baily is gonna get tagged & I'm confident Snyder will match. Isn't it nice not having a cheap owner? Even if he does go, we'll get good draft picks for him. Snyder has to find a coach that knows both sides of the ball. I'm not sure of his name or position but in Minnesota, Mike Tice's (I think)"assistant coach" will be going on interviews next season. The main thing is keeping our players, and I think Snyder will. I lost my confidence in Spurrier, not Snyder. I just hope the next coach he picks has NFL experience. Keep this in mind, John Gruden went to Tampa Bay, did a couple of adjustments on a Tony Dungy made team and won a superbowl. We have the players, lets get a real coach. |

| Snyder wants to win and be able to go in public without people asking, are you going to fire the Ole Ball coach? |

Ah well skinscity - the Snyderhaters are out and we can't change their minds.
I guess they all think he is writing the plays that Spurrier is calling and that Spurrier and Edwards DIDN'T adjust ONE FRIGGIN BIT in the last two weeks.
I guess that really isn't Spurrier's head up his rectal region. Could've fooled me. |

| I just read that same article - makes you think that the players are frustrated beyond all to say that publicly. That is as much as screaming that the coach has his head up where he sits. "...the same old plays..." |

I think Snyder will make Hue Jackson call plays that are simple and that most of the league is using.I think you would agree that Football is a game of deception. We are not deceptive. |

I think that Spurrier has done the wrong thing with the offense in that he has an offense that is based on the long ball first. The speed in the NFL doesn't allow for that, period. He makes the QB read deep first, and that takes time to develop. The safeties, LBs and DL are all over him before the time needed is up.
If we went to a shorter scheme where we had 4 WR releasing all within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage with hooks, hitches, slants, crosses and outs there wouldn't be a defense that could stop PRam with his arm and accuracy. |

I couldn't agree more. I like that Snyder spends the money...but, let's face it, the man doesn't know how to RUN a football team. When is gonna realize that this team will NEVER EVER make the playoffs without a solid GM?!?!??! |

Hailskins - your guess is as good as mine
I have been running a little "school" here for my wife cause she wants to know about the game a little more in depth, and it was cool when she looked at me a few plays into the defense and shouted "Edwards didn't change one damn thing did he?"
When a novice can spot it folx - why can't Edwards figure out that a pro defensive coordinator will? |
