After last weeks game my simple mind has come up with a basic solution to the slop we have had to endure for the past month. The offense needs to run the ball early and often. Right now we are team, especially the offense, who has no confidence. It does not take a genius to figure out our passing game will not function until it starts keeping the opposing teams defense somewhat off-balance. As disappointed as I am right now we have to say that I think we have a hell of a young gun in Ramsey. As tough as it is right now, we have to keep optimistic This is not as bad as the Health Schuller, Gus Ferrite days. As far as Spurier is concerned, lets get him a D-coordinator and a line coach before we bury him. The options for replacement are few are just as much a risk

But to run the ball, don't we have to have an effective O-line?
