I mean, I'm cool with whatever you want to do. However, we should probably limit the amount of D players. That was kinda crazy last year.

my dude, did you even look at the new scorings and settings?

I lowered the IDPs from 5 to 3.
1 LB
1 DB
1 D Flex

Big mistake IMO. I think defense should be able to score just as much as offense.

I don't think we should restrict Cowpies. If someone takes one that is on them, and they deserve whatever comes their way.

Preciate da input DS.

The cow ting isnt a big deal, just thought it would be tight if we all boycotted dem as a fan group.

Reason for IDP cutback was some off air stuff people voiced about them but my compromise was just to reduce it a bit. We can vote on that in leeg once all managers have registered.

Can't improve tings if yall dont holla @ me so even if your not in the leeg please still give me your thoughts.

Lataz!

I am hoping to at least make it deep in the playoffs this year. Last two years have been painful. I suppose thats what I get for having Romo as my QB, playoff flop...

Shocked

Man, I don't have ANY c-boys in my team, none.

I won't even pick Dallas Clark cos of his name!

I'm disappointed in you ATX, but then again you do live there don't you...

I mean c'mon now, Romo puts up good fantasy numbers... I have one rule and that is no Eagles players (I hate them more than the Cowboys).

And to clear this up, I was born and raised in Herndon, or as I like to call it El Hernondo. Only been in Austin for 4 years. The team down here is the Texans btw.

I currently reside in Upper Herndonshire. Not talking

LPJ – Not that it matters but I’ve decided to go with the flow of more points. I read the league rules and have the following suggestions for settings in the draft, the playoffs, and general offense. I’ll look at the rest later.

Draft: We have 4 fewer rounds than last year and we all know when the draft is already. I’d like 1 minute, 30 seconds just like in the mocks. A lot of picks will be made quickly but that 30 seconds could come in handy a time or two.

Playoffs: If we end up with 12 teams we should leave it at 6 teams make the playoffs. If we get 14 teams we should let 8 into the playoffs again.
Offense:

Structure return yards exactly like rushing and reception yards – 10 yards per point and same bonuses. If we’re going for more points these yards are as good as any others. Also, returners are losing a lot of their kickoff return yards already and are mainly scoring here on punt return where 10 yards is an excellent average.

What is this?

Offensive Fumble Return TD 6

Should it be negative 6? Zero? What is it?

Make the +40 yard bonus for a rushing TD worth 1 point just like the others.

Darth..

Hmmm, you don't think 1 minute is enough time for drafting bro? I think with using the queue you can pretty much put everyone you want in there and just pick away, only refilling them once someone has been picked. I have NO problems putting it up for a vote in the league though my friend.

Regarding the amount of teams in the playoff I think that's a great idea and we'll definitely be doing that. So far though, I think we're only going to have about 10 teams max so 6 will probably be the number we go with. 4 teams playoffs are garbage so that'll never be an option. If for some reason we get up to 14 people, 8 will definitely make the playoffs. Great suggestion.

As of right now for all kick returns I have it as 1 point for 15 yards. I did that to differentiate between them and the RB/WR/TE positions. Again though, we can vote on that in the league.

Off. Fumble Return TD.. So I figured that meant if someone fumbles the ball and another person picks it up and runs it in that he'll get the TD points. Not sure if that's correct but I saw "TD" and said hey, all TDs are 6. Laughing

The reason I did 2 points for RB rushing 40yards+TD is because its super easy for a WR to get that bonus vs a RB who actually has to do real work to achieve that. WRs get 1/2 a point for making a catch while RBs don't have anything so I made it 2 points to help balance it out.

10 seconds will be enough time for most picks so we'd ever know we had an extra 30 seconds - until that one time we want it. Sometimes you have 4 guys you really like lined up and they go in the 4 picks right before you.

We're really only gonna get 10 guys??!! I have a few pals who would like to join if you wanna make sure we get 12 or 14. I thought 14 ended up being great. We all play each other once and all the playoffs happen when the actual players in the NFL are still trying in weeks 14, 15, & 16.

OK. Would be more points though. Smile

I agree with you that going from 5 to 3 IDPs is a mistake.

I'll be talkin' to ya, bro.

Oh heeeeeeeeeell naw I know you not naggin us about no dag gone ticker!! LOL. Man look, if you don't have at least 10 players in your queue at all times than you should be able to look up and just pick someone. If you can't do either one, we need to have a sitdown.. your championship might get revoked like Reggie's Heisman!!! LOL!!!!!!.. chump!

We all know outsiders who could play but eh-eh, not happenin.. if they were on THN they'd be playing already. LOL. We could have 4 members playing and we'd rock wit dat!
