It was admittedly weak. Coolie has many spellings. Deadman has it.
Historically, a coolie (variously spelled cooli, cooly, kuli, quli, koelie etc.) was an Asian slave or manual laborer.
I used the spelling "Cooley" and made a sorry joke. My bad.
