WP~

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall had surgery Tuesday to repair a fractured right pinkie finger, a person with knowledge of the situation said Wednesday.

Hall, a nine-year veteran, had ligament damage corrected and had pins placed in the finger as well. It’s expected that the pins will be removed in two to three weeks and Hall will wear a splint for about a month before beginning rehab.

Hall and his agent didn’t immediately respond to inquiries about his surgery.

Hall is believed to have played with the injury for about half the season. He recorded a career-high 95 tackles this season, along with four interceptions.

Hall faces an uncertain offseason because he is owed a salary that could count $7.5 million against the team’s salary cap. But Hall has said he is willing to restructure his deal to remain in Washington.

With all these surgeries I wonder if we've worked out a group deal lol. At least most of the guys are doing what they need to do to get healthy.

Ronnie Lott... not a man to be trifled with... Yeah, Doc... I got most of a season left to play... just cut it off at the joint...

For 8 million this year, he can rehab the surgery with another team. Too much money and I cannot imagine the Skins keeping him without a restructure. He has basically zero dead cap hit so thre is no down side to dropping him if he does not agree to a substantial pay cut.
