NOTHING is guaranteed - every athlete - EVERY ONE, responds to joint surgery differently

RG3's surgery was 1 year after AP and it would seem that he will 'benefit' from that ... Very Happy

I'm confident that RG3 will rehab well and be ready to be the starting QB

ref. RG3 and AP - the only real comparison worth noting is that they both had surgery on their knees by the same surgeon

RG3 is a more gifted athlete/runner than AP - he's a former olympic level athlete - he's a step above AP as far as a 'running' athlete is concerned

RG3 seems to be VERY motivated as I'm sure AP was during his rehab

I am confident that RG3 is going to be back to help this franchise win the NFC East again this season

THAT is all that really matters - I cannot wait Very Happy

btw - thanks for the article - really good info about the stem cells

the other stuff about free agents and ticket sales is just typical BS

Thanks for the article, I'm shocked that's not all of PFT and ESPN.

My takeaway from this interview:

1. He repeatedly stated "It's about being smart"
2. He seems more mature and focused
3. His tie appears to be burgundy and gold

From my perspective RGIII now realizes he must be very careful with his body. He must avoid or minimize tacklers and he must be open with the coaching staff about injuries and their play calling. And his demeanor in this interview and the experiences of this season should make the coaches smarter about their offensive schemes and play calling.

taking nothing from AP's recovery it was a minor miracle - great season

RG3's 'recovery' depends on 2 things his desire and the Dr

I have a lot of faith in both and think that RG3 is going to be as great as he can be

there are no 'tips' or 'advice' anyone can 'give' him - he has incredible desire and he will show that he's good to go - NO WORRIES

in a way, as has been mentioned
- the Dr was able to 'improve' the ligament surgery from 2009 and that might have been an issue in the future - NOT any more
- the whole thing has been a great learning curve for all, the Dr using the stem cell approach that he's used on a few athletes before, RG3 because he will better understand the 'risk reward' deal with regards his health and not taking undue risks AND of course, the coaches

it's a big win all the way for us

- I'd take any tips and or advice from one of the best rb ever, who underwent the same sx and recovery... Any day.

I think most everybody should take tips from AP ...

RG3 will too but not in any way that will interfere with what he and the Dr have in mind ..

AP did his thing and it worked out great for him

RG3 is a better runner than AP and he will be rehabbing with the DR and 'benefitting' from what AP went through ... the tips and advice from the Dr will mean more to him than the tips and advice that AP gives him ...

it's all good - we just need RG3 to be back on the field soon - FASTER AND WISER - gotta love it

RGIII was (and may again be) a better 400 M hurdler. AP's 40 time was 4.38.

I think you were talking about toting the rock though, weren't you? Otherwise you could say Frank Shorter is a better runner than AP! After all, he WON the Olympic Marathon.

I think Rgiiis fastest time at the combine was 4.32... Who has the higher top end?? Lmao they are apples and oranges.. if anything can be learned from an atheletes amazing recovery from the same sx, then great. Having Ap in your corner regardless is a damn cool thing
