I grew up in Maryland, though always a Redskin fan first and foremost, I see no incompatibility for rooting for my second favorite team that is in the AFC, who's success doesn't affect the Redskins except in a positive way when they beat another NFC team. So even if I didn't grow up in Maryland, I would naturally root for them when playing an NFC team, and absolutely when playing an NFC East team, except the Redskins of course.
I don't like the 49ers ...never have, and as already mentioned, they have caused some pain to the Redskin's fortunes in the past ... so &^% those left leaners from the City where men wear dresses.  |
