THN Three-part Interview with Doc Walker
Hey guys,
Just posted a three-part interview with Doc Walker from last week in the blogs section. I had the chance to talk with him for an hour last week, including a half hour interview. Doc gave some interesting nuggets on a bunch of different topics.

Will you still love us, when you are an important byline?
Great stuff, Jake!

THAT was awesome - THANKS Jake
Apart from some stupid fans, nobody really expects the Redskins to do well - The Redskins need to get rid of Bruce Allen & bring in a new President and GM with the authority to rebuild this franchise
Thankfully, Kirk Cousins is no longer the QB
Great interview, Jake. Many thanks to you, and thanks to Doc Walker, for putting it together. What would you say made the greatest impression on you from the interview?
"I’m never under the assumption that you draft for need. You draft the best available football player on the board. ... Because, in the long run, they are the ones who will help you win the most games." - Scot McCloughan
Thanks guys.
IB, it wasn't necessarily anything he said, it's what he didn't say that impressed me the most.
He talked to me for an hour after the event was over without ANY sense of him being in a rush, or wanting to go somewhere. He would go on and on about the questions I asked and that will stick with me. He genuinely loves talked about football and the Redskins and will give you the time of day if you meet him.
He told me he was going to the movies with his wife later and while I was talking to him, she called and he answered, talked for a few seconds, and then carried on talking to me without missing a beat. Real good dude.
He told me (I assume half-jokingly) that if I didn't write for TheHOGS.net that he wouldn't have given me as much time. haha
Off the record, the guy has the mouth of a sailor and I thought it was hilarious. It made him come off as just a normal, everyday guy when I was talking to him without the mic. Such a great dude. It was a pleasure talking to him.

I always liked Doc...I can tell he has a true passion for the Redskins and seem like ome of the guys. Had to be a great locker room guy when he played.
