Wasn't his fault.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!
Rex was Rex . . . some good throws, some bad ones (though as CLL notes, the INT wasn't his fault). A solid game manager and good enough to be our #2 if needed. Hopefully we won't need him to be.

Good Rex in the house! lol.
Jordan Reed admitted he had run the wrong route on that INT btw.

I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

Unlike Trent Williams, no I am not. The pistol will backfire this year. In fact I am all for it. The over arrogant RG3 will get put on IR and then we can have a REAL QB lead this team.
Cousins or Rex. Pocket passers win.
Gimmick QBs are good for highlights. Real QBS win championships.

Rex does precisely what we need him to do. Vet leadership for our 2nd year 1st and 2nd teamers and to do precisely what he did last night, play big chunks of preseason games. We can't find a better 3rd qb out there, nor should we spend one second looking for one.

Rex will start by week 4
