Hognostication Playoffs 2014 - Divisional Round

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Redskin relevance.

Hognostication Playoffs 2014 - Divisional Round

Postby Deadskins » Mon Jan 06, 2014 11:59 am

So, this is the seeding for the Divisional round:
1 DarthMonk
2 ACW
3 Markshark
4 Redskin In Canada
5 Countertrey
6 SkinsJock
7 Deadskins
8 gushogs

There are many intriguing storylines this week. Will RiC resume playing, or will his injury (pride) allow CT to advance to the Championship round, unopposed once again? Has CT employed Ed Hoculi's services for these games? Will SkinsJock continue to drop perfectos on unsuspecting opponents? Will all of last week's visitors continue their road winning streaks and advance again? Let's find out.

We have:
gushogs @ DarthMonk
Deadskins @ ACW
SkinsJock @ Markshark
Countertrey @ Redskin In Canada

Visitors' picks are due by 12:00 noon EST on Thursday the 9th.

The games:

Sat. Jan 11

4:35 NO @ SEA
8:15 IND @ NE

Sun. Jan 12

1:05 SF @ CAR
4:40 SD @ DEN

Happy Hognosticating!

Yo, RiC...

There's only one Hognostitraitor left... and he can't win without a Redskins loss... and he ain't me! Let's go! I don't want to win this tourney by asterisk... and if I'm to lose, I want it to be to someone I respect...

C'mon RiC, give it a shot - I get to pick against the miserable traitor and I am not giving him an easy pass into next week
Getting our QB back will help a lot but we still have a lot of issues to address

Players and coaches need to believe that they can be successful - they are not playing with that attitude - big changes are coming

I appreacite the words from CT and SJ. Thanks.

I am out this year and I am out of the Hognostications next year.

I do not appreciate the approach taken to deal with Hognostitraitors. But, dear friends, quite frankly, it goes way beyond that:

I lost any hope of this team doing anything positive for as long as Daniel Snyder owns it. It is impossible to cheer for a rotten and dysfunctional organization with a maniac at the core. I have the bad luck of knowing a bit more than some of you may through my own sources in DC.

I will always remain a Washington Redskins fan but from now on, it will be from further afar. I will be happy to learn any potential good news but there is no following, watching or cheering at games. I am not interested anymore to spend this time instead of giving it to family and investing it in many other far more rewarding activities.

It is time to move on in life and make what appears at present to be a difficult choice for a loyal fan since 1969. I am fed up of being negatively affected in my mood after almost every weekend during the regular season and witnessing a sad circus atmosphere every off-season. I will be back if and when Daniel Snyder confronts the fans revolt and a half empty stadium cannot maintain the lie of the "waiting list for season tickets".

I will miss you after 10207 posts. Over and out.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans over the last decade. Stay away from football operations !!!

Dammit, same teams as mine. Is this like Price is Right, where most points without going over? Or just closest period?

Going over is irrelevant. But since the Deadman went with 168 points you must go with an odd number to avoid the possibility of a tie.
