A Redskin Christmas Carol

Postby BossHog » Wed Dec 03, 2003 2:45 pm

As part of my Redskins therapy... I had to write a cathartic christmas carol to help me feel better.

It is to Jingle Bells, and I feel much better now. So follow along starting from the beginning (Dashing through the snow...)

Dingle Bells

The season started bright,
with 3 wins out of four...
Now the wheels have all come off,
and we're losing more and more

The players feel the heat,
we keep on getting flossed...
And at 4-8, the playoffs are gone,
it's another season lost.

Oh

Jingle bells, the Redskins smell, they keep on laying eggs.
Our coach don't know, what to do with the show, And our season's gone astray

Hey!

Jingle bells, the Redskins smell, they keep on laying eggs.
Our coach don't know what to do with the show, And our season's gone astray

There's 'next year' they always say,
as if to help me cope...
Even in times like these,
that's supposed to give me hope?

It's all I ever hear,
when December comes around.
we're playing for just our pride...
since Joe Gibbs left our town.

Oh

Jingle bells, the Redskins smell, they keep on laying eggs.
Our coach don't know, what to do with the show, And our season's gone astray

Hey!

Jingle bells, the Redskins smell, they keep on laying eggs.
Our coach don't know what to do with the show, And our season's gone astray.

My apologies if I offended anyone, and I mean it only to make light of a dismal season. I feel better now and will try to move forward with a more positive attitude.

Thanks for the laugh.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

OMFG... is that ever funny.

I don't know whether to sob or laugh my ass off.

Can you put that on a wallpaper or something so I can torture myself through December. JK.

I sobbed AND laughed for what it's worth.

:-)

I'm not going to be responsible for any Xmas depression so I am not going to Wallpaper it for you.

..and to "Rudolf the Rednose Raindeer"

Danny the big-time spender,
Tried to buy himself a team,
Instead of producing a winner,
All he did was get reamed.

Deion and other ventures,
led to losing more and more,
Now Danny won't see winners,
until a GM walks through the door.

Then in two-thousand and three,
the Skins began with fight,
but the coaching staff did suck,
and playoffs were out of sight.

Danny the big-time spender,
will he buy a GM next at last?
I doubt it, so I guess I'll hit the blender,
drink so much and fall on my a$$!

ROTFALMAO

It's very cathartic isn't it?

You should all try one... you'll feel better.

We can put together our own book and go out carolling with the modified versions.
