There are a few player out there that "could" help us that are unsigned free agents since they have cleared waivers. I'm sure Gibbs and Co. are looking at some of them.
My question is how does this affect the salary cap
It is my understanding if they were to sign a one year deal it won't have a impact on the cap and they are paid week to week. Thats my understanding but I think I may be missing something
Now I lost when it comes to a Multi-year deal or a signing bonus....
Can someone help me understand this correctly or point me to a link that will

| same rules apply. if a signing bonus is shucked out, then its pro rated over the life of the deal. if only a salary is given, then it only counts for that year. |
