What would you rather have next year
The place seems to be split on this
"Sean Taylor is hands down the best athlete I've ever coached it's not even close" Gregg Williams 2005 Mini-Camp

Draft picks, thats easy. we could use young studs at a couple positions. plus we could probably sign two first rounders for what champ wants....... imagine, 2 first picks this year AND next.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
How REDSKINS fans can say that is beyond me... You would rather have two projects, that will take a handful of years to develop, then Champ Bailey....
I can't even reply to taht....
(Ohh, and this draft sure was productive... Taylor Jacobs, where has he been all year...Derrick Dockery got pressed into duty and made a lot of mistakes... but lets give up Champ to go down this road again... you gotta be kididng me...)
HOW CAN REDSKINS FANS POSSIBLY THINK THIS WAY???

How can you compare Dockery (81st overall) and Jacobs (44th overall) to having 2 first round picks?
How about comparing apples to apples...
And if you take stud defensive linemen... they're often not half the 'prospect' that the QB and WRs tend to be. Terrell Suggs was 10th overall last year and was immediately inserted into a tough Ravens D. A pure pass rusher seems to have an easier time acclimating himself to the NFL game than say a rookie QB does.
The Skins will have a top 10 pick of their own and if they could add another top 10-top 20 pick then we could actually land 2 stud d-linemen.
There are at least 10 CBs of value on the FA market to take Champ's roster spot. There is a list in the Around the league forum. http://www.thehogs.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1077

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

I voted for 2 draft picks...because I want a player playing here only if he wants to. All indications are that Champ doesn't.

If you franchise Bailey, someone else signs him and you get 2 #1's, you need to take that.
My question is what team would possibly spend 2 picks on Bailey. He's a great CB, but with this being a fairly decent year for FA CB's, I doubt any team sees him as the one missing piece of the puzzle to get them over the top.
Teams learned from Dallas' mistake with Galloway and don't sign franchise players any longer.

You got a point curveball. I am still hoping that what we are hearing from Champ is crap that his agent is puting in his head. Champ may come down to earth when free agents are ready to find new homes
I rather have a beast line. D Russell should stay. That would be one of my first signings.
