... happen with training camp this year? Wingman and I were talking last night and we figure there's probably a pretty good chance that they would think about moving it back to Carlisle.

That'd only make me rue the start of Camp 2004 that much more.

What do you guys think?

I went to Carlisle a few years back and spent the day there. Nice little town. I like Redskins Park better, though.

If it's in Carlisle, though, I bet it would be nicer to spend the week there.

Your thoughts on that Boss?

I am seriously thinking about taking 1-2 weeks off next training camp and spending it in the hotel with my fellow THEHOGS.NET staff members covering the camp.

Carlisle is so quaint that I can't help think that being there with an army of theHogs.net brethren would be awesome. That way when 10 of us are walking down the street in the same theHogs.net shirt and Lavar goes by on a bike, we can flag him down and take him to Massey's for a novelty treat.

It's okay to daydream a little...

No matter where it is, I'll be there at least 10 days to 2 weeks and maybe even more. It was such a great time in 2003 and now I just have that many more people from the board that I'd love to sit and watch a couple of practices with and just talk Redskins football all day long.

Carlisle will probably tell the Skins to "suck eggs" if they ask to go back there again.

I love Carlilse... the people are nice, but of course the parking sucks....

The stands are great cause the reporters can't stand in front of you and block picture taking shooting you dirty looks if you ask them to scoot just a bit so you can take a pic...

It's also nice because the players are more accessable when they go out on the town together and have places that they all hang out together.

I remember reading about Frostburg and fans and players chatting and the fans buying pitchers for the players tables and such.

While Redskins park is nice, it is great at Carlilse - especially when you have the stands blocking the sun in the way hot afternoons.

I travel through there all the time on business, so it isn't bad for me at all. I can imagine Doeslammer would love it :)
