I can't wait to hear some pads and helmets crackin'!
I'm very excited about the upcoming season and hope Spurrier doesn't let us down. I hope he's patient with Patrick and doesn't get the hook out too early, if at all. Hopefully Patrick won't give him a reason to and the defense will keep us in games when the offense undoubtably struggles.
My biggest wish however is improved special teams. Wouldn't it be nice to have a season of no miscues on kickoff and punt coverage....or punts and kickoffs for that matter...even some possible positive events like turnovers in our favor, a nice return now and then or perhaps pinning our opponent deep in their territory. How 'bout a game winning field goal! I forget what those feel like! Wouldn't that be nice?!? |
