LETTER TO SYNDER FROM COWBOY FAN

Postby gambit187 » Tue Dec 30, 2003 3:45 pm

When Spurrier quit i was upset, cause i was thinking very petty. I was thinking dayum there goes our 2 wins (cowboys)

But after reading his statement and then thinking about the tons of Miami, Florida and Florida state games. I started to get sad very sad.

Then i said to myself, there goes a proud, loyal man, all he wanted to do was bring winning back to the Skins. But a petty, little, money hungry owner ruined it and made this man feel unworthy.

As a life long Cowboy fan and fan of NFC EAST football, I honor and respect the Redskin franchise. Second to the Cowboys i wish nothing but sucess to the Skins (death to the niners).

I say this with a tear in my eye Daniel Synder is ruining a stored franchise, he might not be doing it on purpose, he may be taking the wrong approach. What ever it is it needs to stop.

MR SNYDER IF YOU EVER COME ON THESE MESSAGE BOARDS I AM ONE COWBOY FANS THAT WISHES YOU DO THE RIGHT THING AND RETURN THE SKINS FANS AND THE COWBOYS RIVAL BACK TO GLORY AND RESPECTABILITY.

gambit i respect what you just wrote, but the biggest thing is that spurrier was not winning. spurrier controled his own fate. while i don't particularly like DS, he did the right thing this time.......damned if you do, damned if you don't....

I too respect your comments but have to differ to the fact that he could have returned for his 3rd season...but I feel that his own reality has set in that he's set in his ways, and that the fun 'n gun is not going to work...at least his version...in the nfl.

 JJ did not succeed because he had no running game in Miami.

Bring JJ and C. Dillion

when matched against Miami and FSU, his record dropped to an abysmal 5-10-1 (.313), even less impressive than his NFL record of 12-20
