I've finally finished the Top 10 at every position for the upcomming draft. Whew! Man, I'm looking forward to our second team effort in the '04 Draft - we did a pretty darn good job in the overall rankings and had some guys that didn't get a chance because of injury. Carson Palmer and Larry Johnson were no brainers, but sat behind their respective starters.

Otherwise, there's a lot of good talent in this draft. Personally, I hope we get Vince Wilfork 6-6, 345 lbs out of Miami. He's a monster! Sean Taylor wouldn't be bad either. As usual, Miami has a ton of talent - and young talent coming out this year.

I look forward to hearing your comments. Les - you're in buddy! We'll be putting the final touches on our efforts. This will help us all throught the black hole, football void, after Pro-Bowl and pre-training camp action.

I think we will draft Kevin Jones because our d-line problems will probably be solved in free agency. There has been speculation of Daryl Gardener returning. I personally would like to sign Adewale Ogunleye from Miami or John Abraham from the Jets.

Imagine Abraham and Gardener next to each other? That could be interesting. Too bad Russell didn't work out... that might have been one heckuva line

Rich, oh my! Donald Rumsfeld would be jealous of that line of defense.

Well, with Gibbs possibly giving input into the draft...I feel like we'll be a lot better off...

I think so - I just don't know what they are going to do. If Jones' stock drops at all, they may go down in the draft to fill some spots, especially as deep as the quality of linemen are this year. When I look at draft sites, there are a number of very big DTs who rate 5 stars.

If we can drop and pick up a couple of the picks we traded last year, do it, get Jones if you can, pick up some good DTs in the 2nd and 3rd and settle the DEs in FA with a couple of the ones mentioned on here.

Our cap sitch will be better for it and we fill more holes.

I have to keep reading on the DT sitch before I say that is what they should definitely do, but from all I have seen, with a late first round choice and early second rounder, if we don't get Jones we can still get a couple of 350 pound studs to plug the middle.

Either way, it does look much better.
