Ramsey can't beat out a guy with a weak, twice operated on arm on a team that traded for him to be their guy. I pulled for Ramsey the underdog just like Gus, Brad, Jay, and even Billy before him, but now he's the Jet's 2nd or 3rd string QB. See ya, Pram!
I wanted Bruenell yanked all of 2005, but he earned a free pass for the rest of his Redskins tenure by taking us to the playoffs - and beating the Cowboys twice last year. Both feats were historic and the kind of thing we'll talk about for twenty years. The playoffs legitimized Gibbs comeback and kept his status as ultimate Redskins icon untarnished. And Mark's arm beat the Cowboys on a historical Monday night, when the 'triplets' (gag) numbers were retired, in a way that made up for ten years of loses.
I hope Bruenell plays until he's hurt, then he comes back when he's healthy. He's the man win or lose - he's earned it. |
